Amazon Van Stolen In Hartford

A white Avoid Slam 2500 van used to convey Amazon bundles was taken Friday morning from the territory of Westland Road. Police say many bundles are “absent.”

HARTFORD, Conn — Police are cautioning occupants, once more to ‘LOCK YOUR Vehicles, TAKE YOUR Coxcombs’ after vehicle robbery extended to Amazon conveyance trucks.

Hartford PD detailed in a tweet that a white Evade Slam 2500 van used to convey Amazon bundles was taken Friday from the region of Westland Road.

A brief timeframe later, police said the taken van smashed through an iron fence and heaved bundles in the street before colliding with a left vehicle on Edgewood Road.

The driver ran from the scene and a K-9 track of the suspect in now progress.

Hartford PD authorities state many bundles are “absent.”
