Weirton: According to the recent news reports, the finest and largest grocery retails in the United States of America had to do the emergency evacuation. The reports show that there was a large emergency presence at Kroger in Weirton late Sunday night.
Now, rendering to the police were stationed outside the building, President Charlie Koch confirmed a bomb threat inside the grocery store and everyone was evacuated around 9:45 p.m.
In this regard, the Weirton Fire, West Virginia State Police, as well as Wheeling Police K-9 responded. Just before midnight, K-9 searched the store and gave everything to the employees.

The official statement stated that the “Our office received a call of a possible bomb threat, so officers secured the area. Waited for a dog to arrive and inspected the area. We are relieved that there was nothing there, but we are investigating this, and we will follow up to see who did it,” Koch said. The staff was able to come back overnight. No casualty has taken place and no employee was reported injured. As the threat was not true according to the police officers.
