Because Kroger Grocery Grab is the go! The annual grocery grab event was not immune to the effects of the COVID-19 restrictions last year. The previously planned fundraising will now take place in November 2020 March 25 at the new Kroger site on Emily Drive. Tickets for this event will be on sale through March 18th here. While, the grand prize winner of this event will be raffled and awarded a two-minute grocery shopping spree.

Over the past four years, GFWC Bridgeport Junior Woman’s Club has teamed up with Kroger’s Mid-Atlantic Division through the Zero Hunger Zero Waste initiative to help combat food insecurity with an exciting community event.

While, on the other hand, Kroger have introduced an amazing app which will benefit you intelligently.  In this regard, one of the largest and known stores, Kroger hopes you will soon be able to do a COVID-19 antigen test at home and then get the results on your phone.

In addition, the grocery chain Kroger says Gauss and Cellex have developed the test that supports the smartphone. They have official said, that once it’s approved by the Food and Drug Administration, the Kroger plans to sell it online and in drugstores. The company has not announced the price yet but it will be announcing once it’s in market.

Here’s how the test works:

  • Collect the nasal swab
  • Wait 15 minutes.
  • Check out the Quick Test on the app
  • Get the results
  • To fulfill legal reporting requirements, the app will share results with public health agencies.
