How do I change my work hours at Kroger?


Just joined Kroger or new at Kroger? Want to know what is the starting wage you will get? If yes then this blog is for you! As one of the newly joined employees posted his concern on the Kroger public forum.


While the Kroger employee stated: I am starting to get pissed off now. For the longest time, I have set my availability to anywhere between the hours of 8-7. The schedule writer has had no problem and neither has management with my availability. They even said that time frameworks out great. Better than my old availability. It was put into the computer and finalized.

But for 3-4 weeks in a row, they decided to change my availability without checking with me. I have it set like that for reason. I told them time and time again and they say “ok we’ll fix it. Come in like normal.” Well, EACH and EVERY time, they screw it up. They did it AGAIN this week. So, I have decided just to come in on my reg availability and work it. Like today was a 12-9 pm. Eight-hour shift with an hour lunch. Well, I am working a 10-7 shift. Still 8 hours. Maybe when they see me working my availability and ONLY my availability, they’ll get it.

We are so sorry to hear about this! Let us clarify how the schedule at Kroger works: if you are an employee at Kroger, all you have to do is just log in at the for Kroger portal. Use the same login as Express hr. If your section is on an e-schedule, go to, login, enter the e-schedule section of the website. Then you need to enter your information such as username and password along with employee ID and press enter.  If your department is not on the schedule, you must provide your availability in person to whoever writes your department schedule each week. You need to ask and personally, request the writer to correct your schedule and make a notification at the portal.
