Several retail stores and pharmacies have started offering COVID-19 vaccines, including Kroger superstore chain. If you want to book your appointment and want to know how you can do it without much hassle. Then, here’s everything you need to know about how to get the COVID-19 vaccine at Kroger, including eligible stores and how to sign up.
Countries where the Kroger offers COVID-19 vaccines
According to Kroger’s webpage, the following states offer vaccinations. However, COVID-19 vaccines are limited in supply, and you will need to meet the eligibility requirements in your state in order to qualify.
- South Carolina
- Texas: Houston and other pharmacies are out of doses (as of Feb 12) but may get new doses soon.
- Washington, DC.
- West Virginia
Furthermore, if you don’t see your state in the list above then, it will be in phase 2 and you need to wait till it becomes available in your region. Or you can check Kroger which will be offering vaccinations in the following states in the near future, so check the webpage for updates:
- New Mexico
- North Carolina
How to register for the Kroger COVID-19 vaccine
If you would like to get the Kroger COVID-19 vaccine, go to the Kroger webpage here first, where the current eligibility for each state is listed. In some cases, the webpage will list where you can go to determine if you qualify on your state’s priority list. Then, you can check availability of appointments in your state at this link. The link is the same for every country. However, it might be best to get there by selecting your status on Kroger’s COVID-19 webpage, just in case the link changes at all.
Then, you’ll first be asked to choose a location based on your zip code, city and state, or the name of the Kroger store. When you enter a zip code or city, for example, you’ll get a list of all Kroger locations near you. Some of them can be quite remote, especially if there is no Kroger store in your city. Select your favorite pharmacy then click “Continue”. Please note that just because pharmacies are listed here, this does not mean that the COVID-19 vaccine is available in these pharmacies. This is the Kroger’s general vaccination schedule, which may also include all of the Kroger’s other vaccines, such as influenza and more. At this point, you can now choose up to three vaccinations for your appointment. If there are no COVID-19 vaccines in your chosen pharmacy, this is where you will see that it is not listed, but you will see a long list of other vaccines available. Click on “All vaccines” to see which ones are available.
In addition, while you are choosing the Texas website, for example, a long list of vaccines was included but COVID-19 was not on the list. However, when choosing a store in Washington state and clicking “All vaccines,” only COVID-19 appeared on the list on the Kroger website. So, if your chosen pharmacy is distributing COVID-19 vaccines (even if appointments are not available at this time), then COVID-19 will appear on the list at this point (or it may appear alone). Or you can get notification if you provide them your email address. That’s it! Let us know if you have register yourself and want more blogs covering more information about it? Comment below!
