NASHVILLE, As we all are aware that Kroger has successfully hosted a job fair this Friday. Along with this, they have also thought about the summer which is fast approaching. So, they have announced that Kroger is looking to hire about 700 new employees in Nashville.
Today, the grocery chain is holding a hiring event at all Nashville locations from 1 p.m. – 4 pm. The Nashville section extends into the Middle East, Tennessee. Full-time and part-time jobs are available with varying starting rates. Kroger also offers a tuition reimbursement program that offers up to $21,000 for both part- and full-time employees.
While the hiring event is open to everyone, including veterans, high school and college students, retirees, and people with physical and mental disabilities, Kroger says. In addition to their search for more employees, Kroger is also working to vaccinate more people.

The “Community Immunity” giveaway will run until July 10, when anyone who gets at least one vaccine at Kroger Pharmacy can be eligible to win the $1 million prize. Kroger awards 5 of these $1 million prizes nationwide and 50 grocery store prizes for a year.
“We’re trying to help the Biden administration get to 70% of Americans who are vaccinated by the Fourth of July, so this is one way we can help encourage anyone who hasn’t been vaccinated to get vaccinated,” Kroger spokeswoman Melissa Eads said. Currently, the company is also giving $100 to every employee who is fully vaccinated against COVID-19.
