Kroger publicizes Go Fresh & Local Provider Accelerator

Kroger one of the finest and largest grocery chain in the America. As we know that Kroger is one of the handpicked retailers in town. They have stated that they are inviting local and regional farmers and producers to apply for a new acceleration program

According to the statement they stated that Kroger Corporation Go Fresh & Local Provider Accelerator. A brand-new partnership program that invites US farmers and producers to apply for the opportunity to work with a retailer. The program, sponsored by Gourmet Foods International, will enable Kroger to discover new suppliers to support the continued expansion of its fresh produce divisions.  Including produce, prepared foods, bakery, meat and seafood, dairy products, specialty cheeses and flowers – and its commitment to being Fresh for Everyone.

While, in this regard, they said that May 31, suppliers can apply to join the Go Fresh & Local Provider Accelerator, which will be held in Cincinnati in August. In collaboration with Efficient Collaborative for Collaborative Marketing and RangeMe. The Kroger category management and the new manager team will review applications in multiple rounds, selecting 15 finalists (one of the finalists per region for each category) to attend the event. All finalists will be presented to a panel of judges during a presentation session, with one winner chosen from each region. The award package for the five winners generally includes shelving the product within the Kroger group of companies. Partnerships with Gourmet Foods International recommended; Business development training by Kroger’s marketing and sales leaders as well as PearlRock Partners CEO Brian Kelly. A 30-year veteran consumer products industry expert and former president of Keurig Green Mountain and Coca-Cola Refreshments.
