Publix has collaborated with Mighty Spark and provided 419,657 meals to those in need. Mighty Spark Food Co. founded in 2010 by Nick Beste launched in Supermarkets in 2013 and has grown rapidly since.
Mighty Spark recently teamed up with the largest employee owned company in the United States which helped provide thousands of meals to food banks.
Every Mighty Spark product sold at Publix from April 16th to September 19th, Mighty Spark donated a member to various food banks including Feeding South Florida.

“Publix has always been in the news for giving back to its community. Publix Charities is reportedly donating $3million to various Feeding America member food banks and other non profit organizations. In 2020, the supermarket has donated a total $5 million to charity in total.
Publix also helps its costumers donate twice a year at checkout to alleviate hunger. The campaign is named Food for Sharing.”
