ShopRite has reached a milestone in its coronavirus vaccine program, with more than 100,000 vaccines delivered.
The Wakefern Food Corp supermarket banner stated that it had exceeded this benchmark at the end of last week. Some ShopRite pharmacies in New Jersey, New York, and Pennsylvania currently offer COVID-19 injections.

Through the Topco Associates Network, ShopRite is now participating in the federal retail pharmacy program launched by the Biden government in February that distributes vaccines directly to pharmacies.

ShopRite Pharmacy currently offers COVID vaccines to eligible individuals at 69 locations in New Jersey, 4 locations in New York, and 7 locations in Pennsylvania (including 3 stores in Philadelphia).
“As demand and supply increases statewide, we will continue to work with federal and state governments to provide additional vaccine supplies and expect to provide more vaccines, especially for storage personnel,” added Mundelli.
In total, the ShopRite logo includes approximately 280 independently owned and operated grocery stores in New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, Connecticut, Delaware, and Maryland, including nearly 150 in-store pharmacies.
