Rice is the most popular food worldwide and it can be cooked in so many different ways. It’s easy to cook and mouth-watering recipes make it so popular among people. Chili Rice

Ingredients

  • Boiled rice (2 cups)
  • Chopped garlic (1 Tbs)
  • Eggs-2
  • Spring onion (1/2 cup)
  • Green chilies (4-6)
  • Black pepper (1 tsp)
  • Salt (1tsp)
  • Yellow food color (a pinch)

Method

Beat the eggs adding salt and black pepper. Add chopped garlic in oil and fry. Then add the beaten eggs in it and stir with a spoon. Now add spring onion and green chilies to it and finally add boiled rice, salt, and black pepper. Rice is ready to serve.

Lime Rice

Ingredients

  • Boiled rice (2 cups)
  • Lemon juice (4 Tbs)
  • Coconut powder (1/2 cup)
  • Oil (3-4 Tbs)
  • Salt (1 tsp)
  • Green chilies (4-5)
  • Chopped Cashew nut (1 cup)

Method

Heat oil in a pan and add cashew nuts to it and roast for few minutes. Then add coconut powder and green chilies to it and cook for few minutes. Now add boiled rice, salt, and lemon juice and mix well. 

Qeema Rice

Ingredients

  • Chicken or beef mince (1/2 kg)
  • Boiled rice (1/2 kg)
  • Boiled Potato (1-2)
  • Boiled eggs (2-3)
  • Salt (1 tsp)
  • Vinegar (2 Tbs)
  • Red chili flakes (1 tsp)
  • Chaat masala (2 tsp)
  • Tomatoes (1-2)
  • Ginger garlic paste (1 Tbs)
  • Chopped Green chilies (2-3)
  • Chopped coriander (3/4 cup)

Method

Add ginger-garlic paste, salt, red chili flakes, and vinegar in the mince and cook until tender. Add sliced tomatoes to it and keep aside. Take boiled rice and add a layer of this qeema mixture to them. Now add sliced boiled eggs, potatoes green chilies, and coriander to it. Add the remaining rice and sprinkle chaat masala on it and cover the rice and leave on a very low flame for 10-15 minutes. 

Garlic Rice

Ingredients

  • Boiled rice (4 cups)
  • Chopped garlic (1/2 cup)
  • Soya sauce (4 Tbs)
  • Chicken powder (2 Tbs)
  • Black pepper (1 Tbs)
  • Oil (3 Tbs)

Method

Heat oil and add garlic to it and cook for few minutes. Now add rice, soya sauce, chicken powder, and black pepper in it and mix well.    

Singaporean Rice

Ingredients

  • Boiled rice (3 cups)
  • Sweet corn (1 cup)
  • Iceberg lettuce (1 cup)
  • Boneless chicken (1 kg)
  • Carrots (2-3)
  • Ginger garlic paste (2 Tbs)
  • Salt (1 tsp)
  • Red chili (1 tsp)
  • Black pepper (1 tsp)
  • Mayonnaise (1 cup)
  • Soya sauce (1 Tbs)
  • Boiled pasta (2 cups)
  • Oil (3 Tbs)

Method

Heat oil and add chicken, ginger garlic paste, salt, black pepper, red chili, soya sauce and cook it until light brown. Now add chopped vegetables to it and put them aside. Boil pasta and fry half of the pasta and make it crispy. Add mayonnaise to the remaining pasta and cook for a few minutes. Now take a dish and add rice to it then add the chicken and vegetable mixture over it. Now add mayonnaise mixture and finally add fried pasta on top. 

Masala Fried Rice

Ingredients

  • Boiled rice (1/2 kg)
  • Oil (1/4 cup)
  • Soya sauce (2 Tbs)
  • Chili garlic sauce (2 Tbs)
  • Turmeric (1/4 tsp)
  • Eggs -2
  • Chopped Onion (1/2 cup)
  • Red chili flakes (1/2 tsp)
  • Salt (1 tsp)
  • Chopped Carrot (1/2 cup) 

Method

Heat the oil and add 2 beaten eggs and scramble them. Add chopped onion, salt, soya sauce, chili garlic sauce, turmeric, red chili flakes and mix well. Add carrot and cook for 2 mins. Now add boiled rice and mix very well. Yummy masala rice is ready to serve.

Peri-Peri Rice

Ingredients

  • Boiled rice (3 cups)
  • Soya sauce (1 Tbs)
  • Peri-peri sauce (2 Tbs)
  • Ginger garlic paste (1 Tbs)
  • Chopped onion (2 Tbs)
  • Chopped and deseeded tomato -1
  • Oil (1/4 cup)
  • Chopped capsicum -1
  • Salt (1/2 tsp)
  • White pepper (1/2 tsp)

Method

Heat oil in a pan and add chopped onion. Stir fry and then add ginger garlic paste, boiled rice, peri sauce, soya sauce, salt, and white pepper. Lastly, add chopped capsicum and tomato cubes and mix well. Simmer and serve.
