Breakfast gets exciting when you try some new and different recipes. Here is a list of some tempting recipes for your breakfast that you will surely enjoy.

Potato and Cheese Omelet

Ingredients

  • Eggs -3
  • Chopped coriander (2 Tbs)
  • Deseeded and chopped tomato (1 medium)
  • Spring onion (1/4 cup)
  • Black pepper (1/4 tsp)
  • Salt (1/2 tsp)
  • Red chili powder (1/2 tsp)
  • Red chili flakes (1/4 tsp)
  • Grated Cheddar cheese (1/2 cup)
  • A grated potato (1 medium)
  • Oil (1 Tbs)
  • Chaat masala (1/4 tsp)

Method

Take a bowl and add eggs, coriander, tomato, spring onion, black pepper, salt, red chili powder and whisk well. Heat oil in a pan and add grated potato, chaat masala, and ¼ tsp salt and cook for 2-3 mins. Spread it evenly in the pan to form a base. Then add the egg mixture and cover the pan for 5 mins on low flame. When the eggs are cooked add grated cheddar cheese, red chili flakes, and chopped green chili on it and cover again for few minutes until the cheese melts. The yummy omelet is ready to serve.  

Masala French Toast

Ingredients

  • Eggs -2
  • Red chili (1/2 tsp)
  • Black pepper (1/2 tsp)
  • Oil (3-4 Tbs)
  • Salt (1/2 tsp)
  • Milk (1/4 cup)
  • Chopped Tomato -half
  • Chopped onion – half 
  • Green chilies -2
  • Bread slices (2-3)

Method

Break the eggs in a bowl and add red chili, black pepper, and salt and whisk well. Add milk to it and mix again. Now add chopped onion, tomato, and green chilies and mix. Heat some oil in a pan, dip the bread slices in the egg mixture and cook well from both sides on medium flame. Cut them in half and serve with tea. 

Honey Cinnamon Pancake

Ingredients

  • Flour – 1 cup
  • Baking powder – 1tsp
  • Baking soda – ¼ tsp
  • Salt – ¼ tsp
  • Cinnamon powder – 1 tsp
  • Egg -1
  • Oil – 1 Tbs
  • Vanilla essence – ½ tsp
  • Milk – ¾ cup
  • Honey – 3Tbs

Method

Take a bowl and add flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, and cinnamon powder in it and mix well. Add one egg, 1Tbs oil, vanilla essence, milk, and honey, and whisk well to form a smooth batter. Take a pan and add ¼ cup of batter to it and turn the side when bubbles start forming. Approximately 1 min on each side. Serve with honey or whatever you like.

Baked Eggs

Ingredients

  • Chopped onion – half
  • Chopped tomato – half
  • Spring onion – 2 Tbs
  • Green chilies -2 Tbs
  • Olives (5-6)
  • Eggs (5-6)
  • Red chili – 1 Tbs
  • Salt – 1 tsp 
  • Black pepper – ¼ tsp
  • Cheese (sliced or grated as required)

Method

Mix chopped onion, tomato, spring onion, green chilies, and olives in a bowl, and then add eggs, red chili, salt, and black pepper and mix well. Oil a muffin tray and add the mixture to it topping it with cheese and olives. Bake for 20-25 mins at 180^C. Serve hot.

Chicken Stuffed Omelet

Ingredients

  • Oil -1 Tbs
  • Chopped garlic – 2 Tbs
  • Chicken boneless cubes -250 gm
  • Soya sauce -1 Tbs
  • Black pepper – ½ tsp 
  • Paprika powder – 1 tsp
  • Oregano – 1tsp
  • Slat – 1/2 tsp
  • Chopped Green chilies -1
  • Tomato ketchup -1 Tbs
  • Julian tomato – half
  • Julian capsicum – ½ cup 
  • Eggs – 2
  • Grated Mozzarella cheese – as required 

Method

Heat oil in a pan, add chopped garlic and cook for a few minutes. Then add small boneless chicken cubes and cook for 4-5 mins. Then add soya sauce, black pepper, paprika powder, oregano, salt and mix well. Now add vegetables and cook for 2 mins. Beat eggs in a bowl adding some salt and black pepper and whisk well. Heat a pan and add 1-2 Tbs of oil to it and then add the egg mixture. Cook for 2 mins on low flame spreading the mixture evenly. Turn the side and cook for 1 min. Add the cooked chicken to half of the egg and cover it with the remaining side making a wrap. Cook on low flame for 30 secs and enjoy.
