Walmart Attempts To Reduce Black Friday Crowds


The pandemic has changed our lives in every way. Even the way we shop. Keeping the best interest of people in mind, Walmart has decided to distribute its conventional one day Black Friday deals over the period of three weeks in November. This has been done as an attempt to reduce the crowds in the stores and avoid the spread of the corona virus which has engulfed roughly more than 200,000 lives in the USA.


The well-known shopping giant stated that most of the door will exclusively be available online. As a result, a smaller number of people will visit the stores which will considerably reduce the chances of contracting the corona virus.

The discounted deals will commence on 4th November online and in stores on 7th November. This will be followed my additional sale events in stores on 11th November and online on 14th November. The sale will end online with exciting new deals on 25th November online and in stores on 27th November.

Walmart officials were reportedly considering calling off ‘Black Friday’ when the pandemic was declared. However, with time everyone has learned to make the most out of the current situation. Online shopping has become the new normal.

Black Friday has always been the busiest day of the year. However, this time it is different. The sale season is upon us in a different manner. We need to make our health our priority and shop wisely this year.
